Payment / Credit Policy

All orders placed with Cheque Print Solutions Inc. are subject to our standard credit policies and will apply to all customers. Any exceptions to the policy must be approved by the credit manager and will be documented in writing.

Custom Print Items – Non-Cheque Items

All custom items will be invoiced in full prior to the order being processed. 100% of the invoice amount must be paid prior to any printing, unless invoicing has been approved by the credit manage.  If payment made by either credit card or cheque, please see policies for non-payment of NSF.

Credit Card Orders

All customers can choose this option and either pay by credit card online, at the time of placing their order or by giving us the credit number prior to their order being produced. We accept VISA or MasterCard. All customers paying by credit card will receive a credit card receipt in with their order. Should a legitimate charge be rejected by the credit card company or disputed by the customer, a $25 service charge will be applied to the customer account. As well, if the old charge + the service fee are not paid in full, within 5 days of the charge being rejected, the customers’ bank account will be debited (EFT – see below) for the full amount.

EFT – Electronic Funds Transfer

This option is only available to established customers and offering this is solely at the discretion of the credit manager. Customers choosing this option will have their bank account debited for their order. NO new online orders can be paid with EFT. VISA or MasterCard only.   If EFT is offered for a new or repeat order, the customer agrees that by choosing this option they will have their bank account debited on our next batch run, which can be as early as the next business day, depending on when the order is placed.  Debit batches are normally done on Wednesday and Friday. EFT batch cycle may change without notice. Should they require a different account to be debited, this account number must be provided prior to the completion of their order. “Cheque Print Solu” will appear on your bank statement for any charges originating from us. Should a legitimate charge be rejected by the financial institution for any reason, including NSF or stop-payment, a $25 service charge will be applied to the customer bank account. The new balance must be paid in full by either making sure there are funds available or by providing Cheque Print with a new bank account number.

Invoices

On some occasions, Cheque Print will allow a customer to be invoiced and not have to pre-pay for their order. When a customer is invoiced it is agreed that the payment must be received at Cheque Print within 15 days of the date of the invoice. Cheque Print, at their discretion, may grant other payment terms, as approved by the credit manager. Should an invoice not be paid within the agreed upon time period, Cheque Print will have the right to direct debit (EFT) the customer’s bank account for payment and restrict any additional or future orders to be pre-paid by VISA or MasterCard.

Cheques

Outstanding invoices may be paid by cheque, provided the above-noted policies are met. Should a legitimate charge be rejected by the financial institution for any reason, including NSF or stop-payment, a $25 service charge will be applied to the customer account.

Repeat Orders

Unless otherwise stated, the customer agrees that the payment type used on the most recent order is the same payment type that Cheque Print will use for future orders, unless otherwise instructed by the customer.
